Dance! West Seattle is dedicated to the professional instruction and presentation of Classical Ballet and Contemporary dance.

Each student is taught under a class syllabus along with music instruction, performing presentation and theater orientation. Our dancers are trained in a well rounded Ballet educational syllabus until all core technique are mastered. As dancers progress, they are introduced to; Vaganova (Russian, the technique taught by our Director), Cecchetti (Italian), Balanchine (American), French School, Royal Academy (English) & Bournonville (Danish). Within our Contemporary program, our students are introduced to all forms of Modern dance, including lyrical and contemporary movement qualities. These include, Graham Technique, Horton, Limon, Cunningham, Release Technique and Kinetic movement.

We aspire to teach students to realize that consistency in attendance not only improves their progress but, assures that the class may continue for other students enrolled. Progress is dependent on consistent attendance and dedicated effort! Part of every student's success depends on arriving on time and to be properly prepared for class.
